Cat king, rare naxian marble sculpture by tom von kaenel. Dimensions: h 57 cm, w 11.5 cm, d 7 cm. Unique artwork signed by tom von kaenel. Rare naxian marble. All the artworks of tom von kaenel are unique, handcrafted by himself. The stones all come from the surrounding marble quarries of the island. The naxian marble is of white, grey or yellow-brown color, its structure is crystalline. No measuring instruments other than compasses and scales are used in the production of an object. The eye decides on the final shape. The crystalline surfaces are shimmering. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
