The steel wire is cut into tiny pieces by hand. Each and every wire piece is stacked to its neighbor and slowly the piece grows into a surface. Soldering makes the wire pieces stay together tightly. The process can be stopped at any point, so I can create any size, starting from tiny pieces to large scale pieces. Due to its shape and fixture, it can be used as a wall - ceiling - or table - floor light.

The pointed tops of the wire break the light into different directions and give it a shimmering effect. This shimmer in combination with the lit up light and the colour of the material itself create a warm atmosphere. While unlit, the shiny parts of the piece will reflect the light from other sources and transform the piece from a light itself into a light reflector, creating again a warm and interesting atmosphere.
