Dafne pendant darkened brass finish light sculpted by morghen studio materials: brass, led light dimensions: 200 x 90 x 90 cm custom size with brass mesh. Made to order dimensions are possible. We can customize all its details and give a complete service of 3d modelling, in order to create custom creations specifically for each interior. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. Dafne was born after a journey to africa. Its shapes are inspired by the umbrella tree, but rather than provide shades as a regular tree it provides light. Each one of its brass branches, hand shaped with a blowtorch, has cracks where the light shines from. Like resin dripping from cuts on the bark. The brass surface is grinded and deliberately left raw. It’s name is a tribute to the greco-roman myth of dafne, the beautiful nymph that was transformed into a tree after becoming the unwilling object of the infatuation of apollo. Morghen is a multidisciplinary studio that works on the boundaries between design, art and craftsmanship. They rely on techniques passed on by the artisan heritage mixed with experimentation and contemporary materials. Every single piece is conceived, developed and handcrafted in a carefully renovated old carpenter’s shop located in the milanese bovisa district. Every single piece evolves from and assimilates previous theoretical and practical research. Every single piece is unique. Their work encompasses objects, furniture, lighting and spaces. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
