This petit furniture is a bit more robust than it appears, being cut and shaped out of lava stone from the foot of sicily’s famous volcano, mt. Etna. The three pieces have been glazed in a kiln at 950 degrees, using an ancient technique developed in this region called majolica, that protects them with a robust surface suitable for outdoor use and provides the translucent colors with a slight craquelé for the finish. All of their upholstery pieces are com prices. The prices do not include any fabric. Gisbert pöppler studied architecture at california college of arts and crafts, san francisco and technische universität, berlin, graduating in 1996 with a diplom ingenieur. After completing his studies he spent several years working for various firms in berlin, developing new architecture after the german re-unification. In 1999 gisbert pöppler founded prinz–pöppler, a partnership with architect ilona prinz – together creating office environments for start-up organizations filling the dynamic berlin landscape. Since 2004 gisbert pöppler has been working independently as a full-service architectural studio, offering unconventional end-to-end design solutions for corporate and residential clients. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Chairish Freight Delivery
