The neo/craft label was founded by the berlin-based designer sebastian scherer after he won the lexus design award 2014 for his iris lamp (2013). The debut collection, which consisted of ten products, was first presented at the imm cologne in january 2015 in what wallpaper magazine described as “one of the most impressive debuts in 2015.” exhibitions at trade fairs in milan and london followed this same year.
