It was … Read more This is an iconic model 1853 table lamp from the early edition manufactured by fontana arte in italy. It was designed by the french master glassmaker and decorator max ingrand in 1954. The high-quality lamp is made from frosted white blown glass (base and lampshade). It is labeled with mod 1853, later the design was revised and the lamp was renamed to fontana. This early version here is a collector's item from that period. It features the original differently shaped metal base without holes. The double switch on the cable allows to switch the two light sources separately (suitable for e27 / e26 bulbs up to 60w). This piece has an attribution mark,
