The Circo Flower Pot in joyful colors offers a vibrant home to your plants. A design by Sebastian Herkner, the comfortable and lightweight piece captures Colombia's vibrancy and spirit with its intense color contrast of fine webbing and steel frame. The pot comes in four color combinations and four different shapes. Each pot is made in Santa Marta, a city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, by local craftspeople. They weave the PVC strings, which are made from recycled plastic, around a powder-coated tubular steel frame. The weaving technique the artesanos and artesanas use is called Momposino, a traditional method known for intricate patterns. Just the preparation of all the materials takes 20 days, while the production of each pot takes two days. See less
