Delicate composition made in 2008 by the enthusiastic and multifaceted Lis Petersen, international artist. This original work is composed of four paper wateries attached to a canvas. There are, therefore, four large -format poppies that emanate strength and delicacy, two adjectives always present in their artistic production. Round and carefree forms, following, as she says, Munch's expressionism. Signed and dated in the lower right area.

About Lis Petersen

Lis Petersen was born in 1957 in Oslo, Norway. He studied at the Bergen Academy of Arts, where he gave life to what he saw as a child in his father's art books, since he was also an amateur painter. In the early 90s it was installed in the narrow streets of Tavira, at the southeast end of the Algarve, Portugal. There, living and working with a group of another ten artists, he began to exhibit his pieces and then followed the process of making them thinner and more hanging. Polifaceted artist, has touched all fields, from huge concrete sculptures to fine oils on paper, using an old tempera technique and setting selected works on canvas with a wax method.
