An exceptional mirror-mural (e) rectangular and asymmetrical, brutalist, shabby-chic, large vertical rectangular frame in bronze or patinated brass, with 2 united asymmetrical inserts arranged in secondary frames:
- Top left, a half-nose in "organic" foam "organic" foam with multicolored gradients.
- below in the center, a rectangle generously re-won by welds visible with the hollow mirror.
The whole is signed on the side of a PiERillaud stamp, the unique piece of the artist Jean Péillaud, France 1970-1980.
This wall work which is similar to a bas-relief is characterized by the rigor of its composition, geometric and quasi-architectural, counterbalanced by the quality as raw as organic-and however very precise-of its finishes (lumpy lumps and golden on the rectangular perimeter of the bronze/golden brass frame, metal welds becoming asymmetrical graphic elements around inserts, and finally, this circular and porous ceramics with multiple colors, of great finesse, which evokes a cell, an organ stylized or a stylized star \.). These elements, iron and ceramics, in apparent fusion, bring a cosmic, even esoteric dimension, to this mirror.
And it is the reflection of the spectator of the work which completes the beauty of the whole. Wonderful!
It is an exceptional hand -shaped room, unique like all the works of Jean Périllaud, signed with a superb stamp on the top of the frame. It is as solid as it is fragile (the ceramic in inclusion is in perfect condition but very fragile and requires a particularly neat packaging for the transport of this work).
This piece must be considered as a work of art in its own right, in line with the great creators of mirrors of the second half of the XXth (Line Vautrin, Roland Zobel \. etc!). This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
