Antique Chinese Mahjong set case, dating from the early 20th century.
These sets are traditionally housed in wooden cabinets with multiple small drawers for the tiles and often feature a sliding front door.

Characters, 36 Bamboo, and 36
Dots (numbers 1-9, four of each).
• Honor tiles (28 total): 16 Wind tiles (East, South, West, North) and 12
Dragon tiles (Red, Green, White).
• Bonus tiles (8 total): 4 Flower and
4 Season tiles.

The case is embossed leather. And is breaking down see photos. I believe the game set is complete but am not 100% certain as I do not play. I have added detailed photos and count of all of the pieces for buyer to self confirm. There also may have been a matching top front flap with latching hardware that no longer exists. The bottom front flap falls forward with no original way to secure. I have added a band for secure shipping. less
