In Accolay, a group of artists, similar to the Vallauris group associated with Picasso, experimented with creating artistic pieces for everyday use. Accolay was founded by four young artists that were former students of Alexander Kostanda- Andra Bound, Louis Dangon, Slavic Pale, and Raude. This ceramic lamp fuses pottery and resin and glass to achieve a create a soft, dramatic light. The socket is discreetly mounted inside the base. It is also signed at the bottom and is re wired for the US.
