This is an original Mario Torroella painting from 1978. It was crafted using ink on paper.
Cuban born Mario Torroella studied architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His work is featured in numerous private and public collections, including the University of Puerto Rico and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Vélez-Málaga, Spain, and has been exhibited at Galérie Ars in Geneva, and at the Boston Arts Academy.
His abstract expressionist style is inspired by Afro-Cuban religion
