Dimensions: h 30 x d 15 cm. Materials: bronze, japanese hosho paper. The surculus midi und mini are the smaller brother and sister to the large surculus lamp. Both are an excellent addition to this trio of portable led lamps. The surculus collection works best if displayed as a group. The three different sizes make these lamps very versatile and ideal for atmospheric lighting on dining, side, or coffee tables. The bodies of the surculus lamps are executed as individual bronze sculptures in the lost wax method. Each piece is made by hand, carefully polished and patinated. Therefore each lamp is unique. (five different finials are available.) the shades are crafted by the artist from japanese hosho paper. The surculus lamps combine the old traditions of handcrafted bronze as well as new technology. Their form and purpose transition from traditional candlestick to contemporary portable, wireless, rechargeable led lighting.
