Elegant Soft Green Painted French Marriage Armoire from the 19th Century.
Presenting a French Louis XV style painted marriage armoire, dating back to approximately 1800-1850. Adorned with a gracefully carved wedding basket and foliage motifs. When its doors swing open, you’ll discover an interior equipped with shelves, offering ample storage space. Infuse a touch of understated elegance into any space with this exquisite French marriage armoire.
This cabinet has been restored and coated in a soothing soft green hue. The interior is painted fresh red, with three shelves and two drawers.
This generously sized armoire is exceptionally well-preserved for an antique, having undergone restoration and recoloring. The signs of wear on this armoire are consistent with its age and usage, and it remains in excellent operational condition.
This armoire is crafted entirely from super heavy and sturdy oak wood, ensuring robustness and longevity. It has undergone a thorough anti-termite treatment for added protection.
For transportation purposes, the armoire will be disassembled, including the top, sides, back sections, doors, bottom, and shelves.
The physical object can differ slightly in colour from the object as presented online. We have made every effort to display colours accurately, but cannot guarantee that the pictures accurately reflect the colour of those goods in real life. The color of the detail pictures reflects the color of the armoire the best way; the picture with the armoire in the room is a bit more yellow due the sun in the room.
Please keep in mind that we only sell vintage and antique pieces and none of our pieces should be considered new or in perfect condition. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use. We restore our pieces so they will be clean and in a good working condition. However we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer
