The cabinet is … Read more This very substantial and heavy antique Chinese cabinet has been beautifully preserved for more than a century. The cabinet is made of solid elmwood with three door that open to reveal a single shelf and ample storage. Below are three equal-sized drawers and straight legs. The doors and drawer fronts feature round bronze pulls and floral decorations. 

This is a wonderful example of why authentic Chinese antiques are so timeless and highly desired: beautiful, graceful and clean design, eminent functionality and sturdy, handcrafted construction assembled with traditional tenon and mortise joinery. This heavy, solid piece has been well-maintained and has beautifully-aged patina. It would make a stunning statement in a large reception or living area.
