Michael Tolleson Robles, An Autistic Savant Artist, Author, and Advocate
To create his prolific works of art, with no formal instruction in art, Michael relies on his Asperger’s-mind. During his short-painting-career (about 9 years) he has painted more than 1500 gallery-worthy paintings. Regardless of its size, paintings are usually completed in less than 120 minutes. As a result, Michael is reluctant to take credit for his work, believing his savant autism is actually the artist within him. Until his mid-fifties, Michael was unaware of his autism. In 2015, at the age of fifty-eight, he was formally diagnosed with Autism.
In October 2014 Michael received a global first place in visual arts at the “ANCA Naturally Autistic 2014 Awards” in Scotland.
In April 2015, Michael appeared and painted live at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles during the “Temple Grandin and Friends’” event, demonstrating, as a savant, the gifts autism brings through him. He does this often at autism benefits and conferences.
Michael maintains and operates the Galeria Robles Vallarta, a 6000 square-foot facility that houses an Art Gallery, and Fine Dining restaurant
located in the historic Centro area of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.
Presently Michael is writing his Memoir which will be released 2025, and an advice book on autism-to-autism relationships due out 2026, as well as continuing his global speaking/painting engagements. Michael’s artworks are collected and sought after world wide.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
