More than just a looker. (yes it is is included in the collections of the V&A, London's Design Museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art), its a rugged stacking chair that's comfortable, lightweight and ready to get to work.

Arguably, this chair could be the "line in the sand" when Pop was out and the 70's era high-tech/Bauhaus revival was underway. Visually, the chair seems to reference a pop aesthetic, however it was only offered in Black, White and Grey. It's lightweight nature, couldn't have come at a better time - with the oil embargo and energy chrisis underway the same year the chair was introduced - high freight costs could have killed it even before it go of the4 ground.
