Stylish 4.58ct natural black opal & diamond cocktail ring crafted in platinum.

Cabochon cut oval shaped natural black opal measures 14mm x 11.5mm (4.58 carats). Mixed cut diamonds (marquise, baguette & round brilliant cuts) total an estimated 0.96 carats (estimated at I-J color and SI2-I2 clarity). The opal is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.

The natural black opal is Australian in origin with strong blue and purple color flashes along with little bits of turquoise. It lights up beautifully in natural sunlight (opals are hard to photograph & the vivid color flashes were not captured in the images!) The cocktail is medium to larger sized in scale and makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (13mm - 0.51 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.

The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
