Antique Rectangular Decorative Carved Flower Giltwood Wall Hanging Mirror.
This is an early 20th-century Federal-style gilt wood mirror. The Giltwood design is a beautiful hand-carved cross-crossed ribbed detailed interwoven pattern with flowers in between surrounding the entire mirror set off by square flat corners.
Truly one of the most exquisitely refined carved giltwood early Federal -style mirrors we have ever seen with a beveled etched mirror. Finished in ancient gold leaf the patina on this mirror is incredible only comes with age. This mirror will add style, color, and luminosity to any room. The mirror is retrofitted to hang horizontally and or vertically.
A beautiful addition to any room can be placed over a console table, in a foyer or entryway.
