Totem 4 pieces ceiling lamp by merel karhof and marc trotereau dimensions: d50 x h138 cm materials: cotton laminated on pvc, powdercoated steel rings. Shadevolume 'the kelvin series' ‘the kelvin series’, five enlightened totems in a gradient from red to blue. The gradient on the totems reproduces the kelvin colour chart, which is obtained using ordinary light bulbs with various colour temperatures. It results in a surprising variety of colours that celebrate the daily natural and artificial lights surrounding us. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. Merel karhof (netherlands, 1978) is a designer of objects and installations, whose practice bridges the fields of design, sustainability and storytelling.
