Large Convex Iron Disc Locks extend over the case above each drawer and door. All hardware was originally solid red, but has faded and experienced paint loss at varying degrees around the frame. The piece separates in the center which makes it a perfect option for nightstands by adding a raised base. Raw Pine finish has aged beautifully to the ideal "English Pine" finish.

Hardware extends around the rear and it appears the pieces were used for travel prior to being placed stacked against a wall for the majority of their lives (based on wear patterns).

Dimensions are for both chests stacked on top of one another as displayed in the majority of the photos. The chests are even height and separately are 19.5" tall.

Very early 20th c. or possibly very late 19th c.

Keys are not included in this lot. Doors and Drawers cannot be locked without key, so there is no worry of locking away items stored inside. less
