The size is commanding … Read more Antique Chinese Altar Table with 3 drawers has beautifully carved drawers fronts, stile and corner brackets. The size is commanding measuring 68 1/4" wide, 26" deep, and 35 3/4" high.
Made of a hardwood (possiibly rosewood), it was originally stained dark red which now has a lovely patina allowing the wood tones to come through. Even the worn areas are nice and acceptable due to its age and use. The drawers are deep and go the depth of the table.

- One side of the table has 2 carved drawers with a carved panel in between. The other side of the table has 1 carved center drawer with 2 carved panels on either side. All drawers are 22" deep.

- 68 1/4" wide, 26" deep, 35 3/4" high.
- Mortise and tenon joinery.
- Nice, subtle and strong design.
- Great color.
- The finish has a low sheen. Like eggshell, not dull.
- Everything about this table is quality.
- I cannot attest to when or where this piece was made. It was purchased at a consignment store. The seller says they purchased it in China.
