This large teak trunk is composed of solid planks without joints on the top, sides, back, and front, assembled with dovetail joints, a guarantee of quality and solidity.
The lid opens with a recessed brass handle known as a "boat handle" and locks with a functional original two-hook lock made by John Moreton & Company.
The lid, mounted on two hinges, is held open by a brass compass known as a "knee compass."
The interior offers ample storage space and a niche with a lid on the right-hand side.
The sides are fitted with folding handles with bronze stops for easy transport.
This large trunk, which offers plenty of storage space, will appeal to lovers of antique furniture.
