The white un-glazed body is elegantly decorated with inserted indigo porcelain relief shapes, technically called Intarsia. Inspiration is drawn from Asian calligraphy. Although the work refers to vessel forms it is essentially sculptural object. Formal precision, harmony and clarity are words that are used to describe key qualities in her work. See less
