As an alternative to an unsightly chain, this rod and figure have a hollowed route to allow electrical wire to run from the top hanger through to the bottom hoop where you hang your fixture. It’s as pretty as it is functional!
Made of thick cast brass, it is strong and sturdy. The straight rod is fluted and has a floral petaled cup at the top surrounding a thick 1” inside diameter fixed hoop. The rod is attached to the cherub’s back with screws through a shell-shaped bracket. The electrical line would travel through the rod, into the cherub’s back, down his arm, through his wrist and into the lower part of the drape, and exit at the bottom hoop where it would enter your light fixture.
Please note- there is no electrical wire or fixture included.
Top to bottom is 15 inches long. Front to back is 6.5 inches. Left to right is 3.5 inches. Weight is approximately 2.5 pounds.
Excellent vintage condition. Polished up nicely. No breaks or corrosion. See less
