Although all objects principally served a purpose, clearly the intention was to let function follow form or the concept, and no so much the banality of day-to-day use.

The design of this table lamp is a perfect reflection of the 1980s style, using bold colors, bold forms, and where functionality is put after its form.

This table lamp from the Objects for the Electronic Age series is extremely rare, and makes a real collectors’ item. This piece has an attribution mark,
