Elaborate vintage large poison or pillbox ring (circa 1950s to 1960s), crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Turquoise totals an estimated 0.90 carats & is set upon an onyx mounting that measures 25mm x 17mm. The stones are in excellent condition and free of cracks or crisps.
The ring opens to reveal a secret compartment. Typically this type of ring has been used to carry perfume, locks of hair, devotional relics, messages or other keepsakes.
The substantial ring weighs 35.7 grammes, with a hefty feel on the hand.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Stones: Turquoise totals an estimated 0.90 carats & is set upon an onyx mounting that measures 25mm x 17mm. The stones are in excellent condition and free of cracks or crisps.
Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 6 1/4 (sizable). The mount measures 44mm in length (1.73 inches) and 24mm wide (0.94 inches), rising 26mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: 14 karat yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14 karat gold.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
