Fabulous pair of retro 1940s era coral Buddha earrings, crafted in 14k yellow gold.

The coral is carved in the form of a sitting Buddha measuring 13mm x 10mm. The rubies total an estimated 2 carats. The diamond total weight is estimated at 0.30 carats (estimated at G-H colour and VS2-SI1 clarity).

The dramatic vintage earrings feature coral carved in the form of a Buddha. Traditionally the Buddha is a symbol of blessing and good fortune. The earrings are long (3 1/2 inches) offering a bold statement on the earlobe. The earrings are fitted with post and butterfly backings for pieced ears (the earring backings are a later addition to the earrings).

The earrings are in very good condition. We have not cleaned them in order to preserve the patina and collector value.

Metal & Hallmark: 14 karat rose gold. The earrings are not hallmarked though they have tested positive for 14 karat gold. The posts and tension backings are hallmarked ''14k''
