Finely detailed vintage Art Deco emerald & diamond ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in platinum.
Centre set old European cut diamond is estimated at .90 carats, accented with 12 estimated 0.05 carat old mine cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is estimated at 1.50 carats (estimated at I-J colour and VS2-SI2 clarity). Two emeralds total an estimated 0.10 carats. The emeralds are in good condition with a few nicks evident and general wear visible under a 10x loupe.
The elongated mount with etched foliate detail and fine milgrain is a great example of Art Deco era jewellery. Set with shimmering old European & mine cut diamonds, the ring makes a great statement on the finger. The ring would make a lovely alternative engagement or right-hand ring. The ring has a slightly curved saddle and lower profile, rising 3.5mm from the finger (0.13 inches).
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
