This style of box has been traditionally used for bridal dowries from aristocratic families.
This box has hand painted scenes, painted in the Mughal style. It has a traditional roof-like top. The design style was inspired by traditional temple architecture.
This box is quite large and is in great shape for its age. The box dates to the late 19th century and has been well cared for.
