Offered is a plank seat farm bench straight out of the heart of Amish Pennsylvania, Lancaster county. It is bench … more Offered is a plank seat farm bench straight out of the heart of Amish Pennsylvania, Lancaster county. It is bench made and most probably farm built. When found it was held together literally by bailing wire. It has been meticulously taken apart and put back together. All of its joints have been reinforced and the armrest on the right side has been remade. One bottom stretcher that was broken has been replaced. The seat is made of a one piece plank of wood. The rest of the bench is just as it was found on the field only having been cleaned up. It’s finish has been left in its original distressed condition and the bench shows all of its nicks, dings, and chips proudly as a survivor should. It now sits straight and will hold your weight without problem should you wish to sit upon it. Please look carefully at the pictures as they make up an important part of the description. Questions are always welcome. This piece would make a fine addition to anyone’s country decor. less
