Flame or Burled mahogany. Very original, 2 Piece. Base is 46 inches High. 24 Deep. Upper section is 44 inches High, 36 Wide, 24 Deep. Total Height 90 inches. Base has Cavetto secret drawer, no handles that pulls out to support desk when open.. Original handles have mirrors attached. Has original glass, though one piece is cracked
This is similar in quality to my Meeks pieces, but I believe has more high quality handwork than those by Meeks. I believe this was not made in a factory, like Meeks, but by one master craftsman, pre industrial revolution. Area around glass shows high quality Hand work. . This is an unusually nice antique that I have personally enjoyed for 40 years, and it is now in my living room. Please contact me for more details. It will be boxed for shipping in two boxes , stacked on a 48 inch pallet with lower section on bottom, upper on top. glass carefully packed for shipping.
