Beautifully bright and airy while integrating nearly every uplifting hue on the spectrum!
This piece is loosely based on an evening out with friends on their beloved 1985 wooden yacht, Sand Dollar, Suttons Bay, Michigan.
The sun was descending into the jagged peninsulas and abutting marshes in the bay facing Lee Point. Those thick marshy grasses hide lovely lake trout from hungry birds above.
That evening there was an unsuspecting bald Eagle that swooped down right in front of us and caught a fish so heavy that he could barely get airborne again! Imagine the comic relief as two nearby gulls caught on, needling the bald Eagle with the hopes of poaching the fish for themselves. It was amazing to watch!
I’m sorry to report that the fish did not fare well and after being landed in shallow reeds, the bald Eagle quickly ingested the poor fish before the gulls could make for another attack.
If I hadn’t felt such sorrow for that doomed fish I would have been laughing my can off watching those birds harass each other! It was like something out of a vintage comic rather than animal planet.
Anyhow, the colors that evening on the water were something quite difficult to replicate, but I did try.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
