Monywa is a region in burma-myanmar on the east bank of the river chindwin. This is a delicate depiction of an idyllic rural scene which complements the other piece by the same artist available on this site. Two residents chat amongst the green fields. A modest home in the background lies before the mountainous elevation which captures the purple and pink haze of the daylight. The artist's mastery of watercolour as a medium is clearly evident in the detail of this artwork.
