The intricate relief carvings of "flying dragons and scrolls" design decorate the spandrels of the table. Traditional Chinese design motif decorates the side panels of the table. The tapered legs and the delicate carvings and craftsmanship make this table an outstanding piece of antique of the 19th century. The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made with the core of Elm Wood, the table is very heavy and solid. Excellent condition. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear.
