Sculpture made by Damian Garrido (1931 - 2002) and used for the trophy of the Bridge da Coruña tournament in 2015.
Damian Garrido (1931-2002) was a talented sculptor and goldsmith from Madrid known for his mastery in silversmithing. Inspired by great masters, he created unique interpretations of antique models, including notable works such as a tureen six years in the making. Together with his children, Juan and Paloma, he revolutionized design, expanding the contemporary collection and leaving an artistic legacy in jewelry, galleries and institutional collections nationally and internationally. He received several awards, including the Best Traditional Madrilenian Artisan Award and the Diploma of the European Economic Community.
