This vintage display cabinet … Read more A French carved and painted wood bookcase, with wire door fronts, from the mid 20th century. This vintage display cabinet from France, standing approximately 6.75 feet in height, is fitted with a pair of decoratively scallop-carved panel doors with chicken-wire fronts, that open to five shelves on the interior (the lowest shelf would be hidden from view when doors are closed). Rectangular-shaped recessed panels adorn the cabinet down each side and below the front doors. The cabinet is presented upon a flat base, but has a lovely scalloped and swaging design about the front. The new custom painted finish is a creamy taupe with complimentary interior in gray with hints of blue. This beautiful French bookcase is tall but with a slender 12' depth, allowing you to display your library or collectibles without intruding into the footprint of a room. See less
