This particular piece was sculpted by Oskar J. W. Hansen, in 1948.
The signature of the artist is on the front of the leaf, H with an O inside @ for Oskar Hansen. ( I-O-I @ )
which I have photographed but is a little hard to see.
Marked on bottom:
POINSETTIA 3-44 OSKAR J W HANSEN VA. METALCRAFTERS 1948.
Excellent condition, the original lacquer is still intact.
It measures approx 6.25" X 5" and 1/2" high

Oskar J. W. Hansen (1892-1971) is known for his public sculptures at HOOVER DAM and the Yorktown Victory Monument.
He was born in Norway, served in the United States Army and became a Naturalized Citizen of the USA. He built a home and artist studio in Virginia. See less
