OM Sculpture Collection. Created 2023 by Benjamin Arseguel.
Inspired by Nature, the Elements and the Infinite Cosmos, the branch of a Texas Pecan tree becomes a very sensual, mysterious object via the Ancient Japanese technique of Yakisugi -- or Shou-sugi-ban -- the repeated, deep charring of Wood with Fire. Layers of wood are removed to reveal what was always present.
Salvaged pecan-wood sealed with Tried and True non-toxic Beeswax Finish; solid steel base heat-sealed with beeswax.
Measures 17"H x 12"W x 4"D.
Each OM Sculpture is unique. This one swivels.
