Wmf art deco tazza in patinated silver. Germany, first half of the 20th century. Elegant and stylish art deco tazza / serving dish in patinated silver made by the known german manufacturer wmf (württembergische metallwarenfabrik). A dish to serve bonbons, or little treats or just for decoration. Great base and stem with a very elegant design. Beautifully shaped and yet simple in design. The rich patination on the silver plated material makes this piece even more desirable. Wmf is a famous manufacturer of stylish household products, gastronomic products and hotel products. By 1900, through mergers and acquisitions, the company was the world''s largest manufacturer and exporter of household metalware, mainly in the jugendstil, art nouveau and art deco styles. Good vintage condition with a nice patination on the silver plated surface. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
