Sconce designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso in the 1960s. This wall lamp, with chromed metal structure, has a glass lampshade with great thickness with round shape and hand -worked squad profile, in an elegant smoke green color. In good condition with what sign of time, as visible from the photos attached to the insertion (an almost imperceptible chipping of about three millimeters).
The Italian glass artist Flavio Poli (1900-1980) is known for his contribution to the development of Murano glass, promoting the renewal of the style of the famous Vetreria Augusto Seguso of Venice. Poli won the golden compass in 1954 and during his career, he won five Grand Prix prizes at the Triennials of Milan. His works are also presented in various editions of the Venice Biennale, and at the Expo held in Brussels. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
