A beautiful classic art deco table or side lamp from the 1930s by karl wiedmann, executed by wmf germany. The lamp has a solid green, blue and silver ikora art glass base, which can be illuminated. This looks fantastic. The light has still its original 3-step bakelite switch, which allows to illuminate separately either the base or the shade or both. We refurbished the lampshade with white fabric, using the original wire frame to keep its original shape. The light is fully working and in very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
