All of the colors are in harmony. This painting was influenced by the French impressionist movement. It is painted with love for the rich colors of the flowers. The oil paint is textured and sculptural in its form. Finished with a protective coat of Damar varnish. American artist Martha Holden studied at the Cranbrook Academy of Art and lived and worked in France for 20 years. She has a long history in sales to private collections worldwide.
