Vintage Stangl Magnolia Pattern 24 ounce Pitcher
The Stangl Magnolia pattern was designed by Kay Hackett and was introduced in 1952. It remained in production until 1978. This pattern was the first to utilize a new green engobe also developed by Kay Hackett that was different than the usual white Stangl backgrounds. The pattern is one of many floral-themed designs and features incised lines and raised detail. Like all Stangl, it is hand painted with no two pieces exactly alike. This pitcher features a hand-painted, vibrant magnolia bud in bloom on a tree. The graphic is present on both sides. It also features an elongated spout and side handle.
Measures ~ 4 1/2" H x 6 3/4" L x 4" W.
In excellent vintage condition. Without chips, scratches, or cracks. The graphics are intact and bright. The glaze is shiny.
