The Stangl Magnolia pattern was designed by Kay Hackett and was introduced in 1952. It remained in production until 1978. This pattern was the first to utilize a new green engobe also developed by Kay Hackett that was different than the usual white Stangl backgrounds. The pattern is one of many floral-themed designs and features incised lines and raised detail. Like all Stangl, it is hand painted with no two pieces exactly alike. This pitcher features a hand-painted, vibrant magnolia bud in bloom on a tree. The graphic is present on both sides. It also features an elongated spout and side handle.

Measures ~ 4 1/2" H x 6 3/4" L x 4" W.

In excellent vintage condition. Without chips, scratches, or cracks. The graphics are intact and bright. The glaze is shiny. See less
