The pair of 19th-century Chinese Porcelain vases with detailed multi-colored handpainted themed images of Eight Cranes (8 is considered the luckiest of numbers in China) and Two Horses (female and male the Yin yang) signed by both artists on each panel with orange/peach colored ruyi head motifs surrounding the neck and bottom bases are extremely rare. Ruyi, is a symbolic scepter of good fortune used by the Qing royalty.
