''Circus'' is a delightful and cheerful composition that celebrates the enchanting world of the circus, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the captivating and joyous experience that only a circus can provide.
The artist has skillfully combined various materials and techniques to bring the circus-themed artwork to life. The use of mixed media allows for a dynamic and multi-dimensional visual experience, where different textures and colors blend harmoniously to create an engaging spectacle.
Aleksandra Belcova (1892-1981)
Studied at the Art School in Penza (1912-1917), State Free Art Workshops in Petrograd with N. Altman (1918-1919).
Together with her husband Romans Suta, she moved to Latvia in 1919. She was a member of the Riga Artists’ Group (1920 - 1924) and participated in the group exhibitions (1920, 1923). During this time, she created caricatures in the political pages HoHo and Hallo. She took part also in the exhibitions of Riga Graphic Artists’ Association and the Association "Zaļā vārna" (1927-31). She worked in oil, water colors, graphic arts and produced paintings on chinaware at the Baltars workshop in 1924 - 1928.
Solo exhibitions - in Riga (1928, together with R.Suta, 1962 ,1972), Tukums (1963), Leningrad (1972/73), Liepaja (1974), Jurmala (1977). Painted mostly portraits and still life’s. One of the most exquisite representatives of cubism in Latvian painting of the first decade of the 20th century, who later turned to realism.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
