An absolutely stunning original oil painting on cradled board, titled, "Transcendence", this piece was painted in 2016 by Carolyn McDonald, a nationally recognized American artist. Dimensions: 8" High x 8" Wide. Perfect for the art lover or the rose and/or flower collector!
About The Artist:
Carolyn McDonald paints and teaches in Birmingham, Alabama. She has taught basic principles of art in painting, drawing and photography for over thirty years and gives thanks to her influential teachers, Dawn Whitlaw, Michael Shane Neal, Carol Marine, Sherri Russ Levine, and Peggi Kroll Roberts, for the encouragement.
Carolyn states, "At the age of five I received a brand new box of 48 Crayola crayons. I have been seduced by color ever since. I paint almost every day to regain the joy of mixing and applying color. Within this daily "play" mode, I take chances, and in the process, I learn new ways of seeing and painting."
