The vase is approximately 100 years old. This striking Chinese Papier-Mache Vase has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind spectacular globe lamp. Gilt Gold hand painted Dynasty Landscape on Black Lacquer. Gilt Hand painted decorative scenes of Mystical Mountain Ranges with Rivers & Pine Trees, Children playing musical instruments (Drums, Percussion & tambourine), and finished with Ruyi Motifs around the top and bottom of the vase. Ruyi design symbolizes Good Fortune & was used for Royalty during the Tang & Qing Dynasties.
