Russian born Milichev was a 20th Century painter most active in the 1960s and 1970s in Bulgaria, Italy and his homeland. Whilst there are a few of his prints and lithographs still around, his original paintings are quite rare. This one has his familiar signature in the bottom right hand corner. He was famed for his somewhat bright and colorful Cubist / Geometric style, and this particular piece is a great example of such work.
