The Dede hand-knotted wool area rug is named after the Turkish epic Dede Korkut, which confirms the long tradition of rug-making in Anatolia by the Oghuz Turks. Cheerful ivory flowers dot this soft cream rug, with a geometric border featuring hues of grey and sienna red.
Each rug is made-to-order in 6-8 weeks, hand-knotted in India with luxurious 100% New Zealand wool.
The Iconium Collection
Inspired by the ancient traditions of Turkish rug making, KFD founder Kevin Francis O'Gara translated traditional motifs and symbology he found in vintage area rugs. These hand-knotted rugs are made the same way, resulting in heirloom-quality pieces to pass down through the generations.
